Error 0x8007001D when imaging using USMT

We are using task sequences in conjunction with the User State Migration Tool (USMT) and today received the following error when trying to image a computer:

Error 0x8008001D

I took a look at the smsts.log file from the computer and noticed that it said, “USMT returned exit code (0x0000001d).  Look USMT log file scanstate.log for more details” :

So I took a look at the scanstate log (The location of which could be found here:  X:\WINDOWS\TEMP\SMSTSLog\scanstate.log) which informed me that the computer in question only had 211 MB free disk space and a minimum of 250 MB is required:

On logging in to the computer I found that it was indeed somewhat lacking in the free space department:

disk manager

Free up some disk space on the computer and re-image.
