Failed to connect to VMware Lookup Service – SSL certificate verification failed.

  1. Log in to the vCenter appliance and select the Admin tab.

  3. Reboot the appliance.
  4. On rebooting the appliance, I noticed the following message on the console:

This was all that I needed to do and I was then able to log back in to vCenter and continue my studies.
